Frostsee II

Rheinaue Park. Bonn, Germany

‘Frostsee’, in German, means freezing lake. Referring to my previous photo Frostsee I.

The park is also located near Rhine River. There was a flood several days ago on the shore, but in this day the flood seemed to decrease. This was my second visit in this part of Rhine RIver shore. My first visit was during the flood, so the shore here was completely sunken. Now it showed me a new interesting side; a piece of wooden chair from a cut tree stem.

So, in the middle of -6°C air, I sat here, eating a spinach quiche that I bought previously and had a short journaling season. The journaling part, however, wasn’t a good idea. The pen ink seemed a bit frozen as well due to the cold so it didn’t give a pleasant writing.

But at least the sunrise sky was lovely.
