HUMAN COMPANION: Oris Tovonov

DESCRIPTION: A tawny owl with all the entire feather is as white as snow. Only her beak and claws resemble the dark grey color as in Khrataya trees. Who’s distinction characteristics however lays in her oversized eyes — witnesses like to describe them “as big as a mug’s rim”. The eyes are lighter grey than her beak and claws, but her ivory body and her eyes’ size are enough to catch everyone’s attention, wanted or not.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Who appeared when Oris, a ten years-old Tovo boy who just gained his Aurabreath as a Shapeshifter fled from his family’s murdurers and trapped in Khunnus Sandstorm in the side of Raesphyros. When a group of scouts found him in Ivory Woods, a white owl was lingering on his shoulder (aside from Clawblood, a pair of fist weapons, on his embrace).

Oris named the beast “Who” because of her cuckoo that sounds like “who-who-who”. Who becomes Oris’ most faithful companion and family member especially during his hunt for the Sect’s Water Mindbenders who are roaming around Ivory Woods to look for the Tovo — and the one who murdured his family.

On Who’s ability

Who’s oversized eyes catch everyone’s attention for a reason. Her eyes give a hypnotic effect. Anyone who stares at Who’s eyes will feel a time distortion as if the time ticks slowly, and increasing its slowness until eventually stops. This is effective in combat purpose to aide Oris, especially against the Sect’s Water Mindbenders whose Influence can “freeze the time”. Who’s ability will stop them to freeze the time in the first place.

Only Oris is immune against Who’s hypnotic eyes.
